Wanneer u de laatste versie van AhsayOBM (server) of AhsayACB gebruikt (PC/laptop), in beide gevallen 5.5.7.0, kunt u de volgende foutmelding krijgen:

Stop de backup scheduler
- Windows : [Control Panel] -> [Administrative Tools] -> [Services] -> [Online Backup Scheduler (AhsayOBM)]
- Windows : [Control Panel] -> [Administrative Tools] -> [Services] -> [Continuous Data Protection (AhsayOBM)]
- Windows : Close the AhsayOBM system tray icon
- Mac OS X : Run "touch /Applications/AhsayOBM/ipc/Scheduler/stop"
- Linux / Unix / BSD : Run "touch $OBM_HOME/ipc/Scheduler/stop"
- Netware : Create an empty file "SYS:\.obm\ipc\Scheduler\stop"
Installeer de patch
- Windows : Expand [obm-win-patch.zip / obm-win-patch.zip] downloaded to [C:\Program Files\AhsayOBM]
- Mac OS X : Expand [obm-mac-patch.zip / obm-mac-hotfix.zip] downloaded to [/Applications/AhsayOBM]
- Linux / Unix / BSD : Expand [obm-nix-patch.zip / obm-nix-hotfix.zip] downloaded to [$OBM_HOME] (e.g. /usr/local/obm)
Belangrijk is om alleen de bestanden te overschrijven door de nieuwere bestanden over de oude heen te kopiëren, niet door de complete map te overschrijven.
Start de scheduler
- Windows : [Control Panel] -> [Administrative Tools] -> [Services] -> [Online Backup Scheduler (AhsayOBM)]
- Windows : [Control Panel] -> [Administrative Tools] -> [Services] -> [Continuous Data Protection]
- Windows : Open the AhsayOBM system tray icon from [Start Menu] -> [All Programs] -> [AhsayOBM] -> [AhsayOBM]
- Mac OS X : Run "SystemStarter start AhsayOBM"
- Linux / Unix / BSD : Run "$OBM_HOME/bin/Scheduler.sh"
